Get A Life PetRescue has procedures in place to ensure each pet rescued has the opportunityto become a lifetime companion of his/her adopter. Please read below to understand our adoption process. We are always available via email to answer any questions you may have regarding our policies and procedures.

Adoption Procedure:

          1. Adoption Application
          2. Meeting with the dog(s)
          3. Home check
          4. Adoption Contract
          5. Adoption DonationBetween $150-$300

Basic Medical Care For Rescued Pets:

  1.   CompletePhysical Examination
  2.   Spay or Neuter
  3.   Heartworm/Ehrlichia/Lyme Tested
  4.   Fecal Tested
  5.   Bordatella Vaccine
  6.   Distemper Vaccine
  7.   Rabies Vaccine & County License Tag issued
  8.   Parvo Vaccine
  9.   CoronaVirus & Adenovirus Type-2 Vaccines
  10. Dewormed
  11.  Microchipped plus lifetime registration (not for cats)
  12. Grooming (as needed)
  13.  Dental Cleaning (if needed)
  14.  Started on Heartworm Preventative and Flea & TickPreventative
  15.  1 Month Free Pet Insurance

What Makes A Qualified Adopters

1. Applicant mustbe 21 years or older

2. Applicants currentpet should be up to date with appropriate vaccines

3. Applicants petneeds to be altered, unless medical reasons permit

4. All people inhouse hold need be present for home check

5. Landlord orHome Owners Associations approval for pet
