Theo & Sinbad Adopted To The Same Home!

We adopted Theo, a seven year old Wire Haired Dachshund to Tracey and her social Doxie named Scooter. Theo was living in a crate and his previous family allowed the children to throw things at Theo while he was in the crate! In foster care, every little noise scared Theo and he would lower himself to the ground as if to dodge what ever he thought was going to hit him! We were so excited Tracey was interested in an older dog and the two boys hit it off! Tracey takes the boys everywhere and she is an active volunteer with Get A Life Pet Rescue! The photos below show just some of the holidays Tracey and the boys shared. They fostered another boy named Sinbad and when it came time to adopt him out, Tracey could not part with him so now she has three boys! Sinbad is now getting the activity he needs!

When our little Theo passed, Tracey wanted to help another dog in need and she found Duncan an 8 year old Wire Haired Doxie that had been in DARE (Dachshund Adoption Rescue & Education) for a while with out any inquiries! We are so proud that Tracey saved another older dog in need and she helps neglected dogs with both our rescues!!!
